3 Ways to Create Your Most Abundant Year



The more I work with women and help them through their physical, emotional and personal struggles, the more I realize what is holding these women back: fear. Fear of uncertainty, fear of not being loved, fear of failing, fear of not being enough…the list could go on forever. 
Whether it’s physical health problems that are afflicting you today, or a mountain of obstacles that seem to stand in the way of success, there is a way to have what you want. The most extraordinary health, the best relationships and the most satisfying life is not something you can go out and get. All of these things are created inside of you and begin, first and foremost, with you.  
You probably already know my story of living with PCOS for years, and the fact that I struggled with self-loathing and insecure feelings. I always used to think that this was the way my life was supposed to be lived. I never thought I would have good health, and I never believed a better life was possible. I was chronically fearful of bad things happening to me. 
My whole life’s problems – my poor health, finances, bad relationships and desperation – was a product of me waiting for something good to happen instead of creating it myself. I had finally had enough with feeling sorry for myself and waiting for my life to happen. So, I DECIDED to create the life I wanted. I DECIDED that family, friends and health experts would not decide the outcome of my life. I DECIDED to make serious changes – and those changes started with me. I DECIDED that fear would no longer control me, and no matter how afraid or inadequate I felt, I would be brave and take action anyway. 
This is your year. You have the opportunity to decide what you will create for yourself. If it’s better health, finances, or the ability to achieve your personal goals, it starts with you. 
Here are three ways you can take charge in 2011 and create a different life: 
1. Be aware of your thoughts. Your thoughts will bring you success or bring you down. They directly contribute to taking action or procrastination – learn to control them by surrounding yourself with positive, uplifting books, programs, people and mentors. 
2. Decide TODAY that you are in control. You can let life happen at you and forever be in “reaction mode,” or you can boldly decide to create the life you want. The minute you decide to do something, you become unstoppable. 
3. Get the support you need. Having support in your life (for me, it’s my mentors, my husband and my Tony Robbins collection!) guarantees that no matter what obstacle you face – even if it’s YOU – you’ll still always be moving forward toward your goals. 
Don’t wait until after the holidays to put these three tips in action. You’ll see the difference in every area of your life.
